LIFESTYLE
|
| |
Australia enjoys a
largely temperate climate. Most of Australia receives
more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year, or an amazing
70 per cent of the total possible hours! The state
of Queensland is tropical, with sun most of the year
and high levels of humidity following rainy periods.
In South Australia and Western Australia, the dry heat
of summer is a contrast to cool and wet winters.
With the dry climate being so predominant in the country,
Australia has the perfect environment for growing grapes,
which has made it the fastest growing wine industry
in the world.

Lifestyle is important to the Australian population.
With over 22 million people from all lands on earth
living on its shores, there are many different cultural
festivities, celebrations of religions and acceptance
of all races, nationalities and genders. Aussies
are hard workers during the week and hard partiers on
the weekends! They love to entertain and be entertained,
especially outdoors. The most famous Aussie meal
is the Barbeque (BBQ) where families invite neighbours
to eat steak and sausages cooked on an outdoor grill,
with fried onion and salads.
Australians have heritage
from every country – yes, every single country
on earth has migrants who have settled in Australia
– a truly global country. |
